2013 SEC Football Predictions

Can the SEC win an eighth straight BCS Championship?  The league is poised for another year of multiple contenders beating each other up to send a league champion to play for a national title.  The league has huge non-conference games this season and can really assert it’s dominance by winning those games.  None are bigger than week 1 when Georgia travels to Clemson.

The power of the SEC was on display when Arkansas lured Bret Bielema away from, Big Ten Champ, Wisconsin.  He takes over a team coming off a very disappointing 2012 that has talent but will have to adjust to his style of play.  Gus Malzahn returns to Auburn where he was OC for their national title.  Mark Stoops was given his first head coaching job at Kentucky where it’ll be an uphill climb to win at the league’s only basketball obsessed school.

The league is loaded again.  You’ve got several first round picks playing with and against one another every Saturday.  The potential first pick in 2014 is in the league and so is the reigning Heisman Trophy winner.  10 teams should go bowling and one should be there in the end to play for the final BCS Championship.
