2014 Big Ten Football Predictions

Michigan State made a big statement last year knocking off Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship and then beating Stanford in the Rose Bowl.  Our numbers had them as the Big Ten favorites this year before Braxton Miller went down with an injury.  The Spartans take on Oregon in week 2 and that’s a huge game for the Big Ten.  If the Spartans win, they should be a lock for the college football playoff.

The Buckeyes have a big void to fill with Miller’s injury but this is a very talented team.  Urban Meyer will still have them ready to go and they’re going to win a lot of games.

On the West side of the Big Ten, we’ve got a team flying under the radar for many winning the division.  That side should be very competitive.  The conference welcomes Rutgers and Maryland which lead to a realignment and thankfully the end of the Legends and Leaders divisions.
