Loyola-Chicago (32-5) were the conference and tournament champions in the Missouri Valley. The Ramblers have an average margin of victory in the tournament of 5. They won by 2, 1 and 1 before a 16 point win in the regional final.
National Semi-Final #2
Two #1 seeds face-off. The East Regional Champion Villanova faces Midwest Regional Champion Kansas.
Villanova (34-4) won the Big East regular season and conference tournament. They have won every tournament game by double figures and an average of 18.25 points per game.
Kansas (31-7) won the Big 12 regular season (again) and the conference tournament. The Jayhawks beat Duke in Overtime of the Midwest Regional Final having won their last three games each by 4 points.
