2019-2020 Preseason Bowl Predictions

Bowl season is one of the great parts of college football as we can see the best of the best face one another in a neutral site game.

The College Football Playoff is now the crown jewel of bowl season. With the way the calendar falls this year, bowls are scattered about a little more than usual.

College Football Playoff Predictions

The four teams that’ll be in this season’s College Football Playoff is going to be a tough decision.

The top three seeds will be clear cut. We predict Clemson, Alabama and Michigan to be undefeated conference champions. They’re in the playoff.

The fourth seed is where it gets interesting with these candidates:

• Utah is a 1 loss champion from the Pac-12
• Iowa State is a 1 loss champion from the Big 12
• UCF is an undefeated team

Each of those teams will be coming off big wins in the conference championship. Iowa State most likely against a top 10 team.

Utah and UCF will probably face top 15 teams in their conference title games.

I can’t see UCF getting in…even undefeated with other conference champions with 1 loss so we’re down to Utah and Iowa State.

Utah will have avenged it’s only loss (predicted against Washington) in the Pac-12 I think becomes the difference and they’ll get the invite to the College Football Playoff.

Formulator Bowl

Our tradition of having a bowl game for those left out. This year we look like we’ll have bowl eligible teams without an invitation so they’ll get invited to the 2020 Formulator Bowl.

We expected 80 teams to be eligible with only 78 spots available. We predict every bowl and who will be left to compete in the Formulator Bowl!
