2019 Conference USA Preview and Preseason Predictions

C-USA will be very competitive this football season. Seven teams have a legit shot at making the C-USA title game.

There is a pretty big divide between the top and bottom of the league. The conference has three teams in our top 50 preseason power rankings but three in the bottom 10 as well.

The good news for the league is eight teams will be bowl eligible this year. The extra practices can help build programs up and give them matchups to battle other Group of 5 teams which can help recruiting.

Scheduling will make the difference in separating teams. Favorable conference schedules for North Texas and Southern Miss should make them contenders.

Tough schedules for FIU and UAB could keep them at home for the title game yet both are strong contenders.
