82 games are in the books and the off-season has started for 14 NBA teams. However, 16 are getting ready to make a run to the NBA Finals. With the regular season in the rearview mirror, we size up the NBA one last time as we wait for the 2019 NBA Playoffs to begin on April 13, 2019.

Who’s Hot?

These teams ended the season hot. Some built momentum for the playoffs, others just finished the season on a high note.

The Oklahoma City Thunder head to playoffs with a five game winning streak. Orlando bolstered their playoff position with four straight wins.

The Blazers, Spurs and Nets all have three game win streaks to carry with them into the NBA Playoffs.

The Milwaukee Bucks were the only NBA team to win 60 games this year. They’re the top seed in the Eastern Conference Playoffs.

Who’s Cold?

These teams limped to the finish line. Some have a few days to figure it out before the playoffs start while others are examining what’s gone wrong and what changes need to be made during the off-season.

The Cleveland Cavaliers finished the season ice code losing 10 in a row. The post-LeBron era saw them finish 41 games back in the Central Division.

The Washington Wizards finished out their 82 with four straight L’s.

The Bulls, Hawks, Timberwolves and Kings all dropped their final three games of the 2018-19 season.
