A great night last night as I hit both the underdogs as the Bulls won outright and the Grizzlies were close enough to cash. Let’s hope to keep the momentum of winning 5 of 6 in the past two days. I’m 6-3-1 in the 2013 NBA Playoffs so far. Let’s get to tonight’s three games.
Milwaukee Bucks at Miami Heat
The Bucks stayed with the Heat for most of the first half Sunday but the Heat turned it on in the second half to pull away. I think tonight’s game will be closer but I don’t think a side is the way to play this one. I like over 197. The Bucks didn’t shoot the ball very well in game 1 and I expect it to improve tonight.
The Play: Over 197
Boston Celtics at New York Knicks
This is the game that will prove if the Knicks have what it takes to be a contender this season. The Celtics don’t want to go down 2-0 in the series and have had two days off to rest and prepare for this game. The Knicks are the better team and need to show it again at home in game 2. I think the Celtics need to put Kevin Garnett on Carmelo Anthony and see if his length can break them tremendous play Anthony has had the past month. The Celtics need to be deliberate and make the Knicks guard them in the half court. I shy away from taking a side here and think playing the total is the way to win.
The Play: Under 185.5
Golden State Warriors at Denver Nuggets
It’s awful the way David Lee went down and out in game 1. The Warriors finally get back in the playoffs and there hopes were basically dashed in game 1 though the took it to the wire. Without Lee, they have no low post threat but should try Draymond Green down there. Give Green touches and he could keep them in the series. I expect the Nuggets with Fareed feeling better to blow this one open.
The Play: Nuggets -8
Good luck tonight!
