NFL Week 1 Best Bets
- Ravens -9.5 – I think the Ravens blow them out. CJ Stroud is overrated and will be a bust. The rookie is going to have to play from behind the entire game and will throw a couple of picks, one of which I think will be a pick six. Lamar Jackson runs up the score in his return at home.
- Giants +3.5 – I think the Giants have a good shot at winning this game outright. I see it being a tight divisional contest and being decided by a fieldgoal either way so if I can get 3.5, I’m taking it.
- Packers ML – The Jordan Love era begins on the road at the rival Bears. The Bears stunk last year and seeing them as a favorite in this game seems ridiculous to me. I’ll take the Packers to win outright.
- Titans/Saints Under 42 – Both have solid defenses and shaky offenses so I expect this to be a slugfest where the winner maybe gets to 20 points.
- Steelers ML – With this line being 2.5, there’s not much of a reason to bet the spread when the better payout is on the Steelers moneyline. I’ll take the Steelers to win at home to kickoff a big season.
