We’re headed to week 4 of the 2019 college football season. Time to do our weekly analysis and publish our week 4 power rankings so you can see how all 130 FBS college football teams stack up to one another.

In addition, we give you our Heisman Trophy and College Football Playoff Rankings.

What's Inside

College Football Playoff Rankings – Week 4

If the College Football Playoff were to happen this week, this would be the Final Four:

  1. Alabama vs. 4. Ohio State
  2. Clemson vs. 3. LSU

Slight change in this week’s College Football Playoff prediction. Moving LSU to #3 as they’re strength of schedule has been much stronger in the early part of the season. If the Bayou Bengals win out, they’ll be the top seed in the playoff.

Georgia and Notre Dame play this weekend and it’s a title eliminator for the Irish and if Georgia wins, it’ll greatly strengthen their case and the SEC’s to get two teams into the College Football Playoff.

Heisman Trophy Rankings – Week 4

I don’t have a Heisman ballot but if I did, my ballot this week would like like this:

  1. Joe Burrow (QB – LSU) – Massive performance in win at Texas Saturday night. Best performance I’ve seen this season.
  2. Jalen Hurts (QB – Oklahoma) – Absolutely lighting teams up. He hasn’t had the big match-up yet to get him a national spotlight where everyone can see him.
  3. Justin Herbert (QB – Oregon) – He’s tossed 11 TD’s with 0 interceptions. The Pac-12 could get him some match-ups against ranked teams that could boost his profile down the stretch.
